P.S. I've been sick this weekend so I haven't been doing much of anything...other than scrapping of course!

German Santa
The German Nikolaus visits on December 6th. This year he made an exception because he understands how hard it is to get everyone together all at once with our busy work schedules! So he came to our house December 4th this year! We had a delicious brunch, and had a blast opening all the presents. He definitely spoiled us rotten! Thanks Nikolaus!

GingerBread Houses
Mara did a fantastic job decorating the Gingerbread house. As did Logan. His contribution was the 1/2 gingerbread man on the roof..he couldn't resist eating it while we were decorating. Mara totally got into it this year and went to town! If you couldn't tell....she has also enjoyed picking candies off and eating them!
I'm glad I caught this last picture on camera because it's what Logan does when he is tired. He cries and smacks his face. I don't know how that makes him feel better....but it does. It's pretty hilarious!
Playing in the Snow
Have I ever mentioned how spoiled I am? By me, I mean my kids of course. My mom LOVES to spoil her grandkids. Last year (after winter was over) she bought them both winter coat and snow pants sets, and we finally got to put them to use this winter!! It was so fun. Getting Logan dressed was definitely a chore, as you can tell by the pictures. He did NOT think getting dressed was cool. He screamed the entire time. Mara on the other hand knew what it meant and was super excited. Logan did not last long outside because the wind was blowing--but it was fun while it lasted.
I often feel bad that I have more pictures of Logan, but if I could get Mara to hold still for even 2 seconds---I'd have oodles of pictures of her too!!! She is definitely a crazy little thing!!
I've started "cheating" on my scrapbooking....I use the same layout for both kids. Lazy? No. I think SMART! It sure makes it go a ton faster! St. Nikolaus was very generous to me this year, so I spent a little (ok, a lot) on a splurge of digi supplies! I am in HEAVEN. So you just might be seeing more pages up on the blog. :)

Mystery Man
All right my friends. Let's all take a good look at this here picture. Stare closely now. Who is this handsome little guy. We'll get to that in a second.
All right. Now lets move on to my little dude. Pretty much the most handsome little guy I know. P.S. I'm a little biased since he's my little dude, but who wouldn't be? Just look at the guy.
So who is the little stud in picture number one? That would be my dad.. Mr Steven Evans. For everyone who says that he looks like a Miller baby, you are correct. But guess what? I think you're overlooking the fact that Brittani and I pretty much look like siblings. So there. He's definitely my little dude, the Evans/Miller baby.

Interesting Times
I've been going through some interesting (for lack of a better word) struggles lately and this song really touched me. It helps me have hope. I'd thought I'd share it with you.

Here Comes Santa Claus
The kids both LOVED Santa. I was a smidge worried they'd be freaked out. I don't know why since the words "Stranger Anxiety" has never been in their vocabulary. They will go to anyone and quickly become best friends. Fortunately it was the same for our Santa visit! We went at about 3:00 in the afternoon, and walked straight up to him. No line at all. It was FABULOUS!
