Seven Random/Weird Facts about Me:
1. I am currently writing a book. I know, it's totally stupid, but I've always loved writing and I feel like I have a message to share. Will I ever get it published? Who knows. Right now it's just a weird hobby.
2. I did not breast feed Mara. In Utah County that could be considered "weird". Yes, I tried. Trust me, I tried. I think she's going to be just fine without breast milk. If you don't have anything nice to say about that, then don't say anything at all. Thankyou.
3. I want to go to college. I always have. After highschool I got accepted and even receivied a scholarship, but I turned it down. I guess I was just scared. I could totally kick myself for that, because now getting a degree is going to be so much harder!
4. My husband has only kissed one girl, that's me! How many girls can say that?
5. I'm dying to have another baby and my current baby isn't even 8 months old. I swore I would never get pregnant again during my pregnancy, but by the time Mara was three months old I had totally changed my mind, and have been trying to convince Sean ever since.
6. At one point in my life I swore I would never get married or have children. My how the tables have turned...
7. I was hospitalized during seventh grade because of a virus that only effected 14 kids in Utah County. They still have no clue what it was. It presented as appendicitis, but upon removal they found it to be completely healthy. But I had all the symptoms of appendicitis for approx. two weeks. That totally sucked. Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl.

Bittersweet
I am absolutely loving Sean's new job, mostly because he loves it so much. He really seems happy and he is loving being able to provide in a whole new way for our family! Translation: OVERTIME. It really is fabulous. Paying off debt, building savings etc... I just miss Sean so much! This will be the second night in a row that I'm sleeping by myself. I absolutely hate doing that! I'm basically afraid of my own shadow so it makes for a very long night. I also worry about Sean. Is he getting enough sleep? Is he really enjoying himself? Hmm...anyone else ever dealt with the same thing?
On a happier note, I've tried to keep myself busy so tonight I have folded loads and loads and loads of never-ending laundry, and I made caramel chocolate apples. I haven't had one yet, but they sure look tasty! It's funny, the harder Sean works the more I try to make his life better. He loves food and he loves folded laundry...so ta da! Have you ever read the book by Dr. Laura called The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands? At first I was totally annoyed by it, but the longer I've been married (yes, I know it hasn't been that long) I find that it really is true! It talks about the more you take care of your husband (doing things he loves especially for him), the more he'll return the favor and vice versa. So true. This is an extremely random post, but I'm just trying to put off going to bed all by my lonesome.

Husband Tag

Husband Tag
1. Where did you meet? The first time we remember meeting was at the bus stop in third grade. But we met about three years before that and have pictures to prove it! Our T-Ball team picture!
2. How long did you date before you got married? We dated for a year, then he went on a mission, we wrote for only a year then took a year break...:), he got home and we "dated" for nine days before we got engaged and were married 8 weeks later...
3. How long have you been married? One year and Ten months
4. What does he do that surprises you? Nothing really. I think we know eachother too well.
5. What is your favorite feature of his? Hmm...that's hard to say...I love his eyes of course (how could anyone not?), I absolutely love his shoulders, he's got amazing hands, his lips are perfect...I guess I'll stop there so you don't vomit.
6. What is your favorite quality of his? He knows what's right, and he lives it daily. No one is perfect, but I think he is pretty darn close.
7. Does he have a nickname for you? Yes, and I'll be keeping them to myself thankyou very much!
8. What is his favorite color? His fav. color is blue, but his favorite color combination is red and black.
9. What is his facvorite food? What isn't his favorite food would be the shorter question to answer! He loves chicken and brocolli casserole, and lately he loves the way I make tacos. (I got a new recipe and they're amazing!)
10. What is his favorite sport? To play? To watch? He loves all sports. He can find a good game no matter what sport season it is.
11. When and where was your first kiss? August 14, 2003. It only took him 3 months to get up the nerve! What a cutie! It was in his parents basement on the couch. He was acting super weird all night, like getting really close to my face and then doing nothing...finally I told him I needed to go home because it was almost midnight so he did it! He was so nervous it was the cutest thing ever. It was his first kiss. I am still the only girl he has ever layed his lips on!
12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Geez...that's a little personal! JK, umm....we both love laying on the hammock and talking. I promise he likes it too! He's not much of a talker in crowds, but he loves to have long talks with me!

14. Does he have a hidden talent? Oh, he has many!
15. How old is he? 23
16. Who said I love you first? He did. I didn't say it back to him for a while though. Too many bad experiences with guys to even think about falling in love! But it just happened and I was in denial for a while!
17. Whats his favorite type of music? He's pretty well rounded. But his all time favorites are still his "highschool" music. Like Weezer and stuff like that. As you can probably tell from our blog playlist.
18. What do you admire most about him? He is very determined.
19. Do you think he will read this? Not unless I tell him that I blogged about him!

Combine Flour, Oats, Cinnamon, Baking Soda, and Salt. Cream together the Butter and Sugars. Beat until light and fluffy. Add Vanilla, Egg, and Pumpkin. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes of until a light brown color.

Picture Overload!!!! No, seriously....
I somehow managed to get these pictures out of order in a terrible way! For the most part it starts from the most recent stuff. I'll just label as I go!
We got to babysit Mara's twin cousins Kayden & Maddux yesterday so we went to the park. I don't remember who's belly that is, because both of them looked like it! They got facinated with a huge tree and tried to climb it. They would get up a couple of feet and then slide down on their tummy's!
It was pretty hot so when I saw this drinking fountain I was excited! They all drank quite a bit, then I took a sip and realized it tasted like dirt! Gross!! Oops, sorry kids!
Mara's turn. She actually got soaked more than drank.
I'm trying to do fun things with her hair lately. This was my creation for the day.
She actually does like the grass
The huge tree they were trying to conquer!
She loves swings!
I thought this was fun because all four of them are in it!
I told him to smile so we could show his parents what a blast he had at the park...what a cheese ball!

This was a couple of days ago, I needed to get at least one picture of her and her leg warmers on here!
We went to the state fair with Steph and the boys last Saturday. I took this picture right before we left because I thought she looked super cute!

She was an angel at the Fair! She hardly made a peep!
This was Sean's birthday. Yes, he loves A1 which is why it was one of his gifts! Mara enjoyed chewing on it, as she does anything!
She has recently decided that grabbing the spoon while you're feeding her is the funnest thing in the world....
More fun hair stuff.
I was painting my toes the other night and she was just starring at me, so I decided to do hers! It was so cute!
She love this caterpillar. She sucks on the legs. I personally think it is extremely disgusting.
This picture was FOREVER ago! Hilary and Liz came over for lunch so we took a picture of the babies together! Liz was more exciting than me so they wouldn't look at me!
Don't laugh. Daddy dressed her! I actually love this outfit he just needs to remember to put some pants on her as well! It's her Jordan T-shirt and pink Nike's!
If I ever forget to bring a toy with us wherever we go, I no longer have to worry that she'll get bored because she thinks her shoes are the two best toys in the world!
Uncle Will is now out of the Marines so he read her a bedtime story!
Sean's graduation! I am so proud of you!

Sean's graduation! I am so proud of you!6 month appointment
This was actually about two weeks ago...I'm getting pretty bad at the blogging thing because our computer is officially dead. Anyways, Mara looks like a little chunk but don't let that fool you because my chunky monkey is only in the 37% for her weight (that is actually up from her previous appointments where she was in the 20%'s) Poor girl just looks chubbier than she actually is. The biggest surprise of all (acutally not really because she has been this long at every appointment, I just still can't get over it) she is in the 67% for length, and the least surprising thing of all? She is in the 70% for head circumference! I say least surprising because large heads run in Sean's family (wink, wink Steve!)
I have a million darling pictures I'm dying to post but unfortunately I cannot find my camera...I used it last night at Steph's house, but since she is on a plane to Germany I'll have to wait a week to see!
